Sports Day
What a wonderful day we had on Wednesday for our sports day!
We finally had the perfect weather - dry, cloudy and a nice dose of sunshine!
The children had fun testing their physical skills in a carousel of 10 sporting activities, and then put their competitiveness to the test in our track races. The children's resilience, behaviour and positive attitudes shone through on the day.
Our wonderful sports leaders showed amazing support, and worked so hard in the build-up, to pull off an amazing day.
Thank you for everyone’s generosity and support with our cake sale and raffle on sports day. It was lovely to see so many parents/carers and friends. The sports leaders spent time thinking about different charities they would like to fund raise for. After a vote, they decided on St Luke’s hospice. We raised a fantastic £366.56p which will be split equally between our school fund and St Luke's hospice.
