Foundation - Welly Wednesday - Diwali Firework Sticks
Our Welly Wednesday session today was linked to our learning about important celebrations happening this week (Diwali and Bonfire Night). Our first challenge was to independently zip up our coats. The teachers had to give out lots of stickers for Resilient Lions. Today we have been using natural materials to create our own Diwali Firework Stick. We had to use our fine motor skills to twist a pipe cleaner onto a stick. We used the pipe cleaners to attach natural objects such as leaves. These looked like the sparkles of a firework. We love the final creations!
