Visitor - Year 1 and 2 -Pastor Dan Taylor

On Tuesday, Year 1 and 2 had a special visitor come and talk to them for their R.E lesson. Pastor Dan Taylor joined us to talk about the importance of Christmas and the Nativity for Christians.

The children were full of questions like, ‘Why do Christians celebrate the Nativity?’ and ‘Why is Jesus important to Christians?’

They listened intently to the answers and showed great Animal Ace behaviours throughout the visit.

After the discussion, they then crafted Baby Jesus in a Manger.

Well Done Year 1 and 2!

Pastor Dan Taylor wrote to say:

"Just wanted to say what a privilege it was to come and talk to the children today. I had the best time and they were very well behaved and listened really well. They were a credit to you and your team. As a local community leader I just wanted to say we appreciate the hard work you and the whole school put in teaching, caring and supporting our young children."

Thank you for coming to visit us Pastor Dan Taylor.
