Year 1 and 2 - St Andrew's Day
Year 1 and 2 have been learning all about St Andrew’s Day today. We explored how Scottish people might celebrate, including the food they might eat and the clothes they might wear. We learnt about a type of dance called a ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) and learnt a new dance together. We practiced linking arms before trying in the hall all together with the music.
